Held July 30 – August 2, more than 350 guests gathered to support V Foundation grants awarded to top scientists and groundbreaking cancer research. The Wine Celebration plays a vital role in funding high-impact research, raising more than $188 million since 1999.

The fourth annual V Foundation for Cancer Research Sonoma Epicurean weekend, hosted March 27-30 in Sonoma County, raised over $3 million. These funds will support game-changing research at top cancer centers across North America, with 100% of event proceeds directly benefiting cancer research.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research, a top-rated cancer research charity, announced the 2024 V Foundation Wine Celebration, presented by JaM Cellars, and held August 1 - 4, 2024 in the Napa Valley, raised $10.5 million. The funds raised will support multiple cancer research teams for an additional 3-4 years of funding per project. Presented by Weather Wines, Sonoma Epicurean features three days of curated experiences with award-winning chefs, local artisans and world-class vintners, focusing on lifestyle, wellness and sustainability.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research raised over $2.4 million at the inaugural Sonoma Epicurean weekend, held March 31 - April 3 in Sonoma County’s renowned wine country. A signature series of events, Sonoma Epicurean featured curated and hands-on experiences with award-winning chefs, local artisans and world-class vintners with a focus on lifestyle, wellness and sustainability. Proceeds from the inaugural event will support grants funded through the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund at the V Foundation for Cancer Research. The V Foundation has now funded over $290 million in cancer research grants nationwide.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research, announced the 2021 V Foundation Wine Celebration raised more than $12 million during a full weekend of events in the Napa Valley, with proceeds supporting cutting edge immunotherapy research. As part of their efforts, the V Foundation for Cancer Research partnered with the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI) to co-fund up to four Parker Bridge Fellows grants for early career researchers.

The show will televise live July 10 on ABC at 8 p.m. EST and will be hosted by actor Anthony Mackie, star of Disney+’s “Falcon and the Winter Soldier.” ESPYS Week will honor the legacy of Stuart Scott, a former ESPN sportscaster who was a passionate supporter of cancer research and especially driven to improve outcomes for Black and other minority patients disproportionately affected by cancer. The annual event also highlights the partnership between the V Foundation and its founding partner ESPN as they work together toward Victory Over Cancer®.
