MrBeast's Newest Mission: Saving Up to 1,000 Lives in One Day
Beast Philanthropy, the charitable organization founded by Jimmy Donaldson (also known as MrBeast) has partnered with The Blood Connection to challenge the Greenville community to donate blood and help save up to 1,000 lives in one day. The blood drive, inspired by the wish of a young patient fighting leukemia, will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at the Greenville Convention Center in honor of the hundreds of thousands of children around the world battling blood cancers.
The Blood Connection to Assume Operations of Sovah Health – Danville Blood Donor Center
The Blood Connection (TBC), an independent, nonprofit community blood center, became the sole supplier of blood products for Sovah Health – Danville on October 1. TBC will also assume operations of the Sovah Health Blood Donor Center, located at 159 Executive Drive, Suite K, establishing its first permanent location in Southside Virginia and second in the state.
The Blood Connection Celebrates Clemson University’s Alpha Phi Omega Being Named School Partner of the Year
The Blood Connection (TBC) and Clemson University’s Alpha Phi Omega Gamma Lambda (APO) chapter were named by the Association for Donor Recruitment Professionals (ADRP) as the School Partner of the Year. This award recognizes outstanding dedication to saving lives within Clemson’s student body and local community. This award celebrates the exceptional commitment demonstrated by Clemson APO in fostering a culture of altruistic donors throughout the years.
